Yuan soap is made totally from scratch, the old fashioned way, in small batches to guarantee quality and freshness. They may differ in color, scent and softness from season to season, as all Yuan soaps are handmade without adding any colorants, fragrance or hardening agents.
Why are Yuan soaps softer than other commercial soaps?
No paraffin wax or stearyl agent (hardening agent) were added to harden the soaps. Also, there were no high compression processes to mould the soaps’ shape. Yuan soap takes about 30 to 60 days to harden in a natural environment, then each bar is sliced manually. Paraffin wax and steryl agents are ingredients that may clog our pores. With natural handmade soap, you will not have such problems.
